About
Akanksha received a B.S. in Neuroscience from UC Riverside where she was an undergraduate researcher participating in studying traumatic brain injury and its implications in Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias. At the Rando Lab, she is interested in aging research and hormonal influence on muscle development. Akanksha hopes to eventually attend graduate school and further research biomedical sciences. In her free time, she enjoys playing the oboe, volunteering with animals, and watching movies and television.
