Mannix is a Ph.D. student in the Molecular Biology Interdepartmental Program at UCLA where he is co-mentored by Tom Rando and Jessica Li. Before joining UCLA, he received his B.A. in Biology at Boston University and worked as a researcher at Harvard Medical School and the Salk Institute. Currently, his research focuses on understanding the causes and consequences of age-related epigenetic dysregulation using experimental and computational methodologies. Outside the lab, Mannix enjoys traveling and staying active by swimming and running.
