Cindy is a Master's student under the Department of Integrative Biology & Physiology and a Graduate Student Researcher under the Department of Neurology. She holds a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences & Toxicology, a B.A. in Molecular & Cell Biology, and a minor in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley. As an undergraduate, she first developed an interest in aging and rejuvenation while studying under Dr. Irina Conboy and Dr. Michael Conboy. After joining Dr. Rando's lab in May 2024, she is now studying skeletal muscle-derived interstitial progenitor cells and systemic aging in the context of exercise under the mentorship of Dr. Ling Liu.
