Samuel is a third-year Neuroscience major with a minor in Gerontology and a member of the UCLA COMPASS (Creating Opportunities through Mentorship and Partnership Across Stem Cell Science) program. He is passionate about the biology of aging at both cellular and systemic levels, particularly its intersection with stem cell science. In the Rando Lab, his research uses microscopy to investigate the mechanisms driving muscle stem cell proliferation. Outside the lab, he enjoys golfing, sewing, and dancing.
