Seongkyun Lim, originally from South Korea, joined the Rando lab in September 2022 to study muscle stem cell biology in the field of aging. Prior to joining the Rando lab, Seongkyun was conducting research on molecular regulations of skeletal muscle in cancer cachexia in a sex-dependent manner. In the Rando lab, his current research project mainly focuses on epigenetic rejuvenation via partial reprogramming. When he is not working, Seong often works out at the gym or participates in outdoor activities such as playing golf and soccer.
