Sheri is a proud Highlander, graduating from UC Riverside with a Bachelor’s degree in 1987.  Prior to transitioning to a career in Research Administration when she joined the Rando lab at Stanford in 2009, she previously worked as a Project Coordinator at Scios (Johnson & Johnson) and in various administrative roles in medical devices, semiconductor equipment, and computer peripherals in her native Silicon Valley.

In her role as Research Administrator for the Rando Lab, she is responsible for all pre and post award activities for Dr. Rando’s research in the department of Neurology.  She does her work remotely from her home office in Vancouver, Washington, and lives with her husband Steve and her four rescue cats.  When she’s not serving her cat masters, she enjoys travelling, nature and landscape photography, and hiking and running outdoors.
