Yutzil Herrera-Rebolledo is currently a third year UCLA undergraduate majoring in Human Biology and Society, B.S. Upon graduating, Yutzil intends to pursue a career in the medical field. As a member of the COMPASS Program at UCLA, she seeks to inspire minorities to pursue their interests in research. Yutzil's current lab interests are in the incredible regenerative properties of stem cells. In particular, in the Rando lab, her focus is on how muscle stem cell regeneration is impacted by the metabolic pathways, and how the function of stem cells can be impacted with age.
